Section 13.5 : Differentials

Compute the differential of each of the following functions.

  1. \(\displaystyle w = \frac{{{x^4}{z^8}}}{y}\)
  2. \(f\left( {x,y} \right) = \tan \left( {x{y^2}} \right)\)
  3. \(A\left( {x,y,z} \right) = {z^3}{{\bf{e}}^{x\,z}}\sec \left( y \right)\)
