Section 4.12 : Differentials

2. Compute the differential for \(w = {{\bf{e}}^{{x^{\,4}} - {x^{\,2}} + 4x}}\).

Show Solution

There is not really a whole lot to this problem.

\[\require{bbox} \bbox[2pt,border:1px solid black]{{dw = \left( {4{x^3} - 2x + 4} \right){{\bf{e}}^{{x^{\,4}} - {x^{\,2}} + 4x}}\,dx}}\]

Don’t forget to tack on the \(dx\) at the end!
